The Baal HaSulam continues to say "because a man in one small action can change the whole reality!" The "Ginzei Shimon" association was established by the founders of the cooperative community "Or HaGanuz - Rashbi" in order to promote the cultural and educational activities of the community. "Or Haganuz - Rashbi" is a cooperative community combining ultra-Orthodox lifestyle and productive work. Their guiding principle is that economic independence leads to spiritual independence. The settlement is not politically affiliated with any party nor any religious stream. For this reason even budgets they are legally supposed to receive they do not receive. They believe in unity and love of Israel. The ultra-Orthodox way of life is combined with Hasidism and Baal Hasulam teachings. The community has no separate synagogues or educational system for Sephardim and Ashkenazim. The village has about 100 families and over 400 people. The idea as defined by the Rabbi of the Yishuv: "The whole essence of the Jewish people is to maintain a social idea that brings about a civilized society. We were all created different from each other and each has a role. We do not seek to change anyone or remove him from the environment he chose to live in, but we must not be enchained by the boundries but rather seek the connection between them. What we learn from each other and what connects them. This is similar to the human body in which each organ has its role. The heart has its function so to the liver, the kidneys.. But they all function harmoniously. So to us. We were created in different forms and no one gives up his uniqueness but rather we become one form. Here it is quite a bit ... * The synagogue is the beating heart of the only community that undertook to uphold the great rule of "Love your neighbor as yourself" in spirit and in action. * The synagogue is located in the community of Or Haganuz and adjacent to the kever of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai Meron. * The synagogue is a beit midrash in which they learn Torah day and night. * Early in the morning learning in Chavruta and in groups the inner secrets of the Torah. * During the day the kollel students learn pshat and the secrets of the torah * Study groups - in the morning, afternoon and evening. * Learning with people from all over the country who come especially to learn and be mitchazek. * Learning with children with difficulties. * Afternoon learning of fathers and sons. * Study groups for children in the afternoon. * Seminars for the entire Jewish people several times a year, Shabbat and the holidays. * Important rabbis and lecturers are invited from time to time to lecture to the entire audience. * A gathering place for the whole community to discuss community matters. * Events - Brit, Pidyon, kidush for a newborn girl and more. This extensive activity has been held up to date in a small center of 150 square meters, which when overcrowded even for members of the community (about 500 people) is not enough. A few months ago we began expanding the building to about 350 square meters but the expansion is delayed due to lack of fundings. You can be partners!
