Publishing 'Our Faces Together'

After being turned down by ‘Makor-Rishon’, the most popular newspaper within the Israeli orthodox community, we feel that if our community doesn’t want to see our faces in the papers – we’d better make sure that all of Israel does, and that ‘Makor-Rishon’ is called on its cultivating of homophobia instead of using its stand to help us spread the light of acceptance within our beloved community. We have decided to make it bigger, and are planning to advertise our campaign in the most largely distributed newspapers in our country. This is a going to be a costly effort for which we need your support. If we manage to raise 71,200 NIS, we can get nationwide exposure in both ‘Yediot-Ahronot’ and ‘Israel-Hayom’, by far the most popular newspapers in Israel. This will help us bypass ‘Makor-Rishon’s homophobic censorship of the faces of orthodox LGBTQs and their accepting friends and families.
