Niv Nehemiah was seriously injured in a stabbing attack in 2017 at and Israeli supermarket, named Shufersal in the small city of Yavne. A terrorist from the village of Yatta attacked Niv in the back and stabbed him 14 times in all parts of his body. Niv, an Israeli hero, fought the terrorist with bare hands with all his might to protect himself and to prevent the terrorist from harming other victims. When he was seriously injured and bleeding, Niv removed the knife from the terrorist's hands. The terrible footage from the supermarket's security cameras touched the heart of an entire country. During the past two years, Niv has been under surgery many times and rehabilitation treatments have become part of his everyday routine. He is in terrible pain and has difficulty speaking (after a stab in the neck hit his vocal cords). But as a true hero, Niv fought back, struggled and even got back to work. Niv is married and has five children. The family's financial situation worsened significantly as a direct result of the attack and Niv and his wife, Sigal sturgle with a significantly declining income. For a long time Sigal was a mother and a father to the children. Carrying the entire burden of the family on her shoulders, she had to reduce the hours of her daily work. In addition to the direct challenges posed by the attack, Niv and Sigel's 4-year-old son suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare behavioral neurological disorder, which among its characteristics: excessive eating accompanied by obesity, delay in motor and language development, and in most cases mental retardation to varying degrees. Niv is a national hero. His personality and actions are inherent in our consciousness and serve as an object of pride. Imagine how hard it is for him to turn and ask for help now. But Niv is a hero who understands his duty - to look after his family. Your donations will help the Nehemiah family overcome the economic obstacles that hurt them following the attack, assist with the move to an accessible home, rehabilitative treatments, drug purchases and future surgeries. In addition to these, there are psychological treatments for children including a 7-year-old who needs additional counseling. Niv is in desperate need of several medical treatment! The HMO and Social Security put a limit on the number of treatments Nic can get and pile up difficulties along the way for more treatments. Donations are recognized for tax purposes Any donation is welcome
