AMEN - Land Where Women Heal Phase 1

By AMEN - Land Where Women Heal

The Israeli non-profit Ohela, set up by Marva Zohar, sees its flagship project in building AMEN (the Hebrew acronym for Admat Marpe Nashit), the Land Where Women Heal: a communal rehabilitative village for the healing of women dealing with trauma in the wake of rape and sexual violence. In the second half of 2019 we decided that while continuing the effort toward realizing the vision in full - which will take many years - we must work without delay to establish phase 1 of AMEN in a rented facility. We located a small but wondrous place in Tivon, with a link to nature and to views of the Carmel; and in October 2019 AMEN established its presence in the actual world.
