Shira Banki's Way Campaign

Shira Banki's Way was founded four years ago and operates, successfully, in the educational and social fields to promote moderation and tolerance in various sectors in Israeli society. Controversy in a democratic society is a cornerstone. controversy, as deep as it may be, must be peacefully communicated and certainly not in violence and murder. In Israeli society, there are many forces that attract radicalization, hatred and separation. Shira Banki's Way produces a strong and significant counter force. In an age of short and extreme messages and in a divided society, a way of moderation, tolerance and acceptance of the other is very much needed. These are the three flags of Shira Banki's Way. The ventures that the organization is involved in are well connected with these important messages. Continuing and expanding this activity will result in a better and stronger society in Israel. In order to bring down the flames of discourse, Shira Banki's Way works to deepen acquaintance with different opinions and the 'exercise the muscle' of listening to others. Acknowledging one another's logic and emotions leads to discussions and sometimes even solutions to existing conflicts. Shira Banki's Way works in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Municipality of Jerusalem, the Municipality of Tel Aviv , Rabin Center, Gush Katif Center, Hebrew Union College, the Interdisciplinary Center, Schools, Gap years and more. We are expanding our activity and its impact and for this we have decided to embark on a fundraising campaign. And in essence - The way for a better society – Shira Banki's Way!
