Strive and Achieve

Help at-risk children and youth turn their lives around! In a time when advanced technology causes children and youth to retreat within themselves and spend many passive hours in front of screens, the Derech Ha'Aretz program, together with its leadership program, Yahalom, are working to turn the trend around and reintroduce at-risk children and youth to nature, activism, values and society. The training team is composed of counselors and mentors with families who are significant figures, full of trust in in the children's personal development. The groups meet on a weekly basis for significant, meaningful activities. Help us by taking part in this important mission; together we will be able to reach more and more children and teenagers, and turn their lives around. Derech Ha'Aretz was chosen as one of the nine leading children's programs nationwide. Derech HaAretz creates significant, meaningful activities for around 120 at-risk children and teenagers from Beit She'an, who are not a part of any other meaningful program. The Yahalom leadership program is a special addition to Derech Ha'Aretz. For example, one of the Derech Ha'Aretz counselors today began as a Yahalom member.
