Scholarships for teaching flowers

We had two main goals: establishing stable and dignified means of livelihood, and training teaching staff to educate the next generation. To this end, we joined the Teachers Institute. In the 2019-2020 academic year the first group of teacher training studies opened, and in the 2020-2021 academic year a second group was welcomed to the program. Together there are 50 students who are married and have families, and see a future for themselves as teachers. Many of these students already work in various schools in Immanuel and nearby towns and cities. In the current school year we launched a joint project with the local authority and Mifal Hapais (Israel’s National Lottery), to provide tuition scholarships for the institute’s students. “Investing in Education” awards a NIS 10,000 scholarship to each student, via a matching program with Mifal Hapais. We appeal to all our friends to lend a hand to this important project, which helps offers the opportunity for a stable and dignified livelihood to many families. Dear friends, in this current difficult period when many families are facing tough challenges to earning a livelihood, you can be a partner in the mitzva of “and you uphold him,” by contributing to a NIS 5,000 scholarship for a Teaching Institute student (the student will receive a matching NIS 5,000 scholarship from Mifal Hapais).
