The day of release is the happiest day for most soldiers. An important landmark. But there are those who release day can be the most challenging day in their entire service.
Lone soldiers crash on the day of release, they have no one to support them and accompany them on their way to citizenship.
As part of the Achai Foundation, we are launching a project - the establishment of preparatory classes for life, for released lone soldiers in three centers in Israel: Nahariya, Pardes Hannah and Nir Banim.
The goal: to accompany the lone soldier who has been released, from citizenship until he reaches financial independence. By residence, finding a job and guidance in managing an independent life as a citizen of Israel.
We call you to take part in the project and help us save the lone soldiers from the cliff of the release day. They were there for us - now we are here for them.
Achai Foundation, in the legacy of Amir Mei-Tal and Oded Chai, personally and long-term accompanies youth at risk, lone soldiers during service and released lone soldiers, from citizenship until they reach financial independence.
Achai fulfills this vision by saluting all the lone soldiers wherever they are and through many projects, including:
o Establishment of Achai village in the Pardes Hanna area, including:
- 24/7 emergency center for the lone soldiers.
- A memorial and heritage center for all the lone soldiers who fell in the Israeli battles, from before the establishment of Israel until today.
- Empowerment, training and employment center for youth at risk, lone soldiers in service and after release.
o Salute march for the lone soldier – from holocaust and displacement for revival" which this year, in its fourth year, will become: "The Israeli Life March."
o Establishment of "Achai Preparatory classes" for the lone soldiers discharged throughout the country.
Achai foundation believes that in order to fulfill this national vision, we must work together, which is why the foundation calls for systemic cooperation and cooperation with all relevant parties: government ministries, boarding schools, youth villages and preparatory schools, organizations and associations, localities, foreign communities, educational institutions and companies. From Israel and abroad.
