Camp Beyachad

Camp Beyachad is a special summer program for girls with disability. Our aim was first to create a solution for disabled girls. Girls that have no option to go out and travel since their only way around is on their wheel chair. But the main goal of this camp is to make a change in the way we treat people who different from us. We’ve named the camp “Beyachad”, and that’s what it is. We are all together. We equally treat the sitting girls and the standing ones. The activities are all done together, finding creative ways to include even the most disabled girls. We do everything, not just logistically but also ideally, to pass to the girls this method that they are capable, despite their way is different. We work on reaching this approach through discussions between the standing and the sitting girls. Through real relationship between them, the girls manage to remove all partitions and discover the real personality beside the disability.
