Hotline health support to the Ethiopian-Israeli

The Crisis Hotline support on physical and mental health issues to Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel, provides an immediate first aid for people suffering physical and mental distress who cannot find their way to accessing treatment or institutional care. To encourage and empower people in distress to seek help and treatment from available sources, and encourage them to take responsibility for improving their quality of life. Dr Seffefe Ayecheh, a health professional and who himself belonging to the Ethiopian Jewish community, manages the crisis talks with the clients and provides a professional information and explanations, gives guidance and turning them into professional agents to receive the appropriate care and treatment. This Hotline service .operates around 24 hours, and to date has provided support for more than 2000 people among Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel
