Mark S. Meskin's climb for justice

Mark will climb the Everest Panorama Trail in October 2018, on behalf of Tevel b'Tzedeks' work in Rural Nepal. You can join him for this challenge, or help by sponsoring his climb to raise people from extreme poverty.

Tevel b'Tzedek is an Israeli NGO that engages in Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). Volunteers from Israel and around the world work with impoverished communities in Nepal on sustainable community development projects including the building of healthcare, education, and agricultural infrastructure. I have joined Tevel’s new campaign, "Climb for Justice," that will take place in October, 2018! I am going on a journey that will take me from the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea in Israel, and continue in Nepal with a two week trek to Gokyo Ri, a 17,575 ft peak with panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. To go along with the physical challenge of trekking to the top of the world, I am taking it upon myself to spread awareness about Tevel’s work and to raise money for its transformative projects in Nepal. Although my wife Ilana will not be joining me on the trek, as a family we have already donated $10,000 to the Climb for Justice to demonstrate our commitment to the efforts of Tevel in Nepal and to encourage others to support this vital and inspirational work.
