Aromas from the past

Holocaust survivors cook together with college students
Ends: 23:55
Donors: 425
The "Aromas from the Past" project is designed to connect Holocaust survivors and the younger generation through cooking together, with the understanding that the passion and love for food are a common denominator and breathes life, and at the same time is a bridge to the memories and childhood tastes of survivors.
The recipe book "Aromas from the Past" combines 41 heroic stories of Holocaust survivors alongside a recipe that reminds them of their childhood home.
The project began about 6 years ago. This year, you can donate and receive a digital book (Hebrew only) with the recipes of the Holocaust survivors who participated in the project.
Donations will be used for the welfare of Holocaust survivors living in poverty, through the Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims.
* Important - For the digital book to be sent to you, please mark V in the rubric: "I am interested in receiving updates from the associations I have chosen to donate", and the book will be sent to you in the coming days to your email address.
The project is an initiative of Reut Efroni, a graduate of the IMPACT Scholarship Program of the FIDF Friends of the IDF in the United States.
Reut has accompanied an Holocaust survivor, named Yocheved Abramovich, for the last 6 years. Over the years, a special relationship has been formed between the two, accompanied by cooking and memories.
