Help us help them

Dear Family and Friends, This year instead of going straight into the army, I decided to dedicate a year of my life to try and help youth at risk through a program called “a Year of National Service”. The place I chose is called Yiftach. It is a school for 28 10th-12th grade boys from religious homes who were they not here out in the desert in this special school and environment, they would either be on the street or in prison. They would have no chance of a future, and and not be accepted into society to continue their life and growth. This year, thank God, 90% of our boys have successfully graduated high school, and received a matriculation certificate with the help of a great deal of therapy, and are ready to take their place in society. We six counselors doing our year of Nation Service at Yiftach, are trying to reward the boys after an exceptionally tough year. Due to Covid they were quarintined here at the school at times for over two months without being able to leave the premises. We have planned a final program for them based on THE AMAZING RACE. If you could help us raise enough money to do this for them, we have a meaningful program planned for them. We are trying to raise a total of 15,000 shekels (approximately $4,600), and already have over $1,200 raised.
