NEW YEAR, NEW SYNAGOGUE IN BET RIMON

The beating heart of any Jewish community is its synagogue, which is also a central element in shaping its identity. Located in the hills of the Lower Galilee, the Beit Rimon community maintains a religious lifestyle in the spirit of the Torah, promoting respect and mutual assistance. Beit Rimon is characterized by rapid growth, and its temporary synagogue, which has served the community for many years, is no longer adequate to contain the community's families and their guests. Completion of Beit Rimon's permanent synagogue, will be an important milestone in the consolidation of our community, and with G'd's help, it will be built with funds contributed by our residents, and by generous donations. The synagogue has been designed as a focal point for prayer, study, communal gatherings, and the operation of charitable activities; thereby empowering Jewish identity, and the bond with the people of Israel and its land – both spiritually and socially. This is achieved through communal services three times a day, as well as on Shabbat and festivals; kiddushim, lectures and lessons, family celebrations and other communal events. As the hub of Jewish communal experience, the synagogue will be the setting for a variety of activities, enabling each resident to find their niche, and at the same time to feel an equal and full partner in all events. The synagogue is designed to be fully-accessible to the disabled, who wish to attend services, and to participate in our communal spiritual experience.
