Haverim Leneshima are coming to you

We are currently creating a support system for those newly diagnosed with lung cancer and their families. Receiving such news, that is usually diagnosed at a more advanced stage, is typically followed by overwhelming feelings of distress, uncertainty, helplessness and a long to-do list. Bureaucracy, doctor appointments, social security and more. Its typical to feel hopeless and alone when dealing with such a complex medical condition. We are here to say, you are not alone. Haverim Leneshima (friends for relief), is here to help with the whole process. With our experience and knowledge, we can help guide you in times of hardship. A team of experienced professionals from The Israeli Association for Lung Cancer will support and assist you throughout the process: a rights expert social worker, a bureaucrat, nutritionist and more. Lung cancer can happen to anyone, and in any family, and unfortunately is cancer with the highest mortality rate of about 2000 people a year. With our help, the process becomes clearer and easier and the chaos - a little less chaotic. We are currently launching a campaign to head start this support system initiative to help lung cancer patients and their families. Help us support those affected and their families by donating.
