JACC Ongoing Activity

Help us today to keep working tomorrow: let's fund a month of JACC activity in 2019

2019 is approaching and we at JACC are asking for your help. JACC is the only non-profit in Jerusalem supporting African asylum seekers in the city. Our team of 7 paid staff members and 140 volunteers are working to create a safe haven for this vulnerable community. JACC’s mission is to promote well-being and quality of life for African refugees, asylum seekers and persons with no civil status in Jerusalem; to create a space for the community, managed by it, to foster community leadership; to create dialog, connections and neighborly relations between the different citizens of the city. At JACC, we work hard to find answers to the many challenges facing this community. In 2019 we will continue to run all existing projects and open several new projects, including a Youth Club for teenagers, a support group for women, victims of torture in Sinai, and more. Please, help us to continue helping them in 2019.

About the Charity
