About the association CMT Israel was founded in April 2019 by people who suffer from the disease - the patients and their families, in order to improve the quality of life of those diagnosed with the disease CMT is the most common neurological disease that no one has heard of.. The association was established only two years ago and here is what we have already managed to do: A series of meetings with doctors from various fields (neurology, pediatric orthopedics, genetics) We set up a support group accompanied by a social worker Monthly workshop with an attorney who specializes in claims against Social Security Encouraging research and making the treatment of the disease accessible in collaboration with hospitals in Israel (more details on this, soon!)
