Margalit Pogonitz - Jerusalem Marathon 2021

Hi everyone! I participated the 10k in the Jerusalem Marathon with the Israel Cancer Association on Friday, October 29! The association works to reduce morbidity and mortality from cancer in Israel through initiatives such as: -Supporting funding and promotion of cancer research -Implementing programs for the prevention and early detection of cancer, and an information program for the general public and professionals. -Assistance in upgrading medical and rehabilitative services in oncology centers and in the community for cancer patients, recovering patients and their families. -Assistance in establishing and operating treatment, hospitalization and welfare centers. -Promoting patients' rights and improving their quality of life. -Distribution of reliable information to the general public, sick, and recovering patients in Hebrew, Arabic, and Russian. -Professional training for multi-professional medical staffs.
