Building Renovation

Kehilat Talpiot HaChadasha (Beit Boyer) is a vibrant prayer community that learns together, celebrates together, provides support during times of need, and reaches out to the neighborhood at large. After more than two decades in a makeshift, rented prayer space on the second floor of a daycare center, the community succeeded in purchasing the space, making it handicapped-accessible, and completely renovating it, so that it is a beautiful and inspiring synagogue worthy of Jerusalem. There is one major vestige of the previous incarnation of the building that remains to be renovated in order to pull the space together: The shabby, speckled floor tiles on which we currently tread need to be replaced with tiles that are both aesthetic and easy to maintain. Now’s your chance to help. Between December 15-31, a generous donor has offered to match every amount donated, up to a total of NIS 75,000. So put your money where your feet are!
