The climate crisis is already here, and it threatens our future. We are now in the midst of an emergency recruitment campaign to enact a modern and relevant law that will ensure us a healthy and secure future. In Israel, there are numerous Government Decisions and plans relating to the climate crisis that are not implemented because there is no legal obligation to do so. Adam Teva V'Din wants to see a modern and relevant Climate Law that will ensure Israel a healthy and secure future, and will require the government to prepare a budget and infrastructure to deal with the climate damage we have developed. Already, the climate crisis is hitting us hard: the extreme weather, floods and fires are just the beginning. Forecasts predict the loss of agricultural crops, severe damage to food security, damage to our water sources and a security-strategic threat.
