General Donation for Tevel b'Tzedek

TEVEL is an Israeli NGO focused on community development and social justice for marginalized communities around the global south. Our aim is to create young Jewish and Israeli leadership who will become active agents of change in their home communities after they gained meaningful experience and expertise through community development, and at the same breath empower improvised communities, increase their capacity to handle and recover from a situation of crisis and to improve their livelihood and wellbeing. In the past 11 years, we have initiated and operated successful sustainable development projects in Nepal, Burundi, and Haiti, and are in planning phases of a new project in Zambia. Our work model stresses long-term engagement with communities in an effort to initiate lasting change that will be owned by the community.
