Hydroponics for Peace

We believe that access to healthy, affordable food should be a basic right to all families, regardless of citizenship or socioeconomic status. The COVID-19 pandemic placed a spotlight on the fragility of food systems in even the most developed countries. Countries everywhere were forced to face the inadequacies in existing supply chains that transformed access to basic nutrition and food from a right, into a luxury. Existing Israeli innovations and expertise in hydroponics can vastly improve the quality of life of thousands of families currently struggling to put healthy food on their tables. VIP’s hydroponic program utilizes this expertise to provide food banks with the tools and training they need to independently grow their own supply of superfoods and other dietary staples for the families they serve.
