Chabad House of Bavli - Tel Aviv

You would be hard pressed to find an Israeli who is not acquainted with the Chabad movement. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the seventh president of the Chabad movement, established Chabad Houses in order to build bridges to connect all parts of the Jewish people. Chabad emissaries, who live with their families in the heart of communities across the globe, aspire to bring the light of Judaism to every home, to showcase and teach respect for others, and to bring down the walls of polarization and alienation that people may feel. One of the main goals of the Chabad movement is to help Jews live proudly as Jews. This is a goal that guides the Chabad House to organize a series of charitable activities and projects for the community. The Chabad House is run by the Rebbe's emissaries to the Bavli neighborhood, Rabbi Shalom and Perry Glitsenstein.
