Community development is a holistic approach that touches all aspects of life. One of the most crucial parts of it is agriculture, For people living in rural Nepal, the land is the most valuable resource, therefore Tevel is focusing significantly on increasing agriculture production for food security and income generation for marginalized farmers who are struggling to provide the basic needs of their families. We are asking your help with supporting our Capacity building for Semi-Commercial farmers: Vegetable and Mushroom farming program. About the Program: The training will provide practical tools for more efficient and profitable agriculture techniques. The farmers will learn specialized agriculture trainings for mushroom and new kinds of crops from A to Z: nursery making, plastic tunnel making, mulching techniques, bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers making and insect-pest management with our highly skilled mentoring staff and under the guidance of Dr.Bishnu Chapagain, PhD in agricultural science. Target Group: 6 groups with 25 members each month. When: February - September 2019 Target Group: 4 groups with 25 members each month.
