Animals Now (formerly Anonymous for Animal Rights, est. 1994) is the leading organization promoting farm animal rights and welfare in Israel. We use innovative approaches and strategies to change the harsh reality of animals in Israel and worldwide. Our projects include: - Legislation: we have led many successful campaigns: Stopping the force-feeding of geese and ducks; Banning the dehorning of cows without anesthetics; Stopping vivisection in schools; Banning the use of wild animals in circuses; - Challenge 22: an international program that provides support for people who want to try a plant-based diet. So far, more than 100k people have participated in the program; - Undercover investigations: We uncover routine cruelty and abuse towards animals in slaughterhouses and factory farms. Our investigations are broadcasted on prime time television and reach millions of people annually. We have uncovered footage from the 3 largest Israeli slaughterhouses (Tnuva, Dabbach, and Haifa slaughterhouse), Zogloweck, Tnuva, and more. - Humane Education: We reach over 20k middle- and high-school students annually and inspire them to live a kinder lifestyle towards animals. Animals Now is a non-profit organization, and we are funded by donations, mostly from private individuals. Your donation will expand our activities to end the suffering of hundreds of millions of helpless animals each year. Please feel free to contact us anytime at info@animals-now.org
