The Israel Goldstein Youth Village

The Goldstein Youth Village is a residential middle and upper school which strives to provide an outstanding academic education for both Israeli-born children from deprived backgrounds and new immigrant youth (who made Aliya alone, without their families) from the former Soviet Union, youngsters from France, Morocco and Ethiopia. Established in 1949, the Village has been a warm and supportive home over the years to thousands of youth. The overall aims of the Village are to integrate Jewish youth from Israel and the Diaspora, to absorb and support new immigrants and to instill Jewish and human values in all its students. The Village strives to enable its students to develop and achieve to their fullest – academically, culturally and socially – at the same time guiding their growth as creative and independent individuals, as proud Jews and contributing members of Israeli society.
