We assume that improving the world around us and helping those that are in need is generally the goal of every person. Our unique project is the construction of the first Spiritual and Cultural Hasidic Russian-language Center in the south of the Holy Land of Israel in Ashkelon. This project includes the construction of a Jewish center to aid the Russian-speaking repatriates and a synagogue, clubs and societies for the interests of children and youth, a school for the studies of Torah, a lecture hall for different seminars and Jewish events, Jewish tradition classes: adulthood preparation classes (Bar Mitzvah), weddings, Hebrew language classes, Тalmud studies college, a Jewish literature library, a dormitory for the guests of the seminars, a charity kitchen and humanitarian aid facilities. Today, when the nation of Israel returns from all parts of the world to the Holy Land, gifted to us by the Almighty for eternal usage, provided that we keep the Jewish traditions, it is hard to find a more necessary and holy undertaking, than to help people to return from the diaspora and settle in the Promised Land. The same as many new repatriates that meet with great complexity and problems during their repatriation process, we in our own time had felt all the hardships of the return to the land of Israel. Nobody would ever believe that a boy from the land of persecution of Traditional Jews, who barely knew the language of his ancestors, would be accepted to the central Yeshiva in Kfar Chabad in the middle of the land of Israel. Understanding this as a gift from Heaven, it was necessary to not only show great zeal, but to apply hard work to pass the trial period, go through all of the exams, graduate from the Yeshiva with honors and receive the diploma of a Rabbi and a teacher. But the Almighty never leaves His people without His attention. An idea was born to organize help for new repatriates, who fall into the turmoil of problems with the language barrier, lack of spiritual and financial support. That is the reason for the creation of Jewish spiritual center “Soul of Haliyah”. The creation of our Jewish center was very long and difficult. Five years of constant ordeals, during which we had an opportunity to obtain a license for a charity foundation and also receive land from the city government of Ashkelon for the construction of our center, confirm the architectural plans and get a construction permit. The seriousness of our intentions can be confirmed with supporting documents, which we can provide to you at any stage of our mutual cooperation. At the present time our Jewish center “Soul of Haliyah” is one of the first Jewish centers in the south of Israel that gives actual material and moral aid, allowing for the repatriates to set aside the material fussing and return to Jewish traditions of their Promised Land for the sake of correction and salvation of all the world. Together we have a great opportunity to leave an indelible mark for future generations, commemorating your name on our memorial plaque of Honored sponsors of our Jewish spiritual center “Soul of Haliyah”, having become a participant in the Creator’s plan to build our Jewish cultural center for assistance to returnees in the Holy Land of Israel. To realize this project a lot of costs are required $10mln. But without your participation it would be difficult for us to make these plans a reality.
