Beer- Sova

Established eighteen years ago, Be'er Sova Non Profit Organization began its journey as a “Soup Kitchen” in very small premises, based on the belief that everyone has a basic right to live in dignity. Through the eighteen years, it has become clear that ONLY providing food programs is not enough to supply an adequate solution for the problem of hunger and poverty. Social change must be pursued in order to educate, encourage, and empower the poor to strengthen themselves and their families. With strategic planning, we have evolved from the “soup kitchen” concept to the Community Restaurant, established the Social Kitchen, and now define Be’er-Sova as a Community Center that will facilitate the activities for our target population. Continuing to serve hot meals daily, the emphasis remains on the dignity of the diners in a warm, caring atmosphere. The Social Kitchen, focuses on various educational and social activities such as empowering women from risk groups, legal advice and rights information,, and ,very important, courses to expand opportunities for employment. We invite YOU to be our partners to insure the activities of the Be’er-Sova Community Center, providing “nourishment for the body, the mind, and the soul. YOUR donation will make the difference.
