Jerusalem International YMCA

As a meeting place for people of East and West Jerusalem for over 100 years, the Jerusalem International YMCA is situated in a landmark, early 20th Century building. With outstanding educational and cultural activities, Jews, Arabs and expats gather to participate in cultural and educational activities that enhance the spirit, mind and body, whilst facilitating peaceful exchange and reducing fear and mistrust. In the words of Lord Allenby when inaugurating our building in 1933, “Here is a place whose atmosphere is peace, where political and religious jealousies can be forgotten, and international unity be fostered and developed”. As a beacon of hope and a springboard for peace, we believe that the future can be different because of what is happening at the YMCA today.
