ATID-The Israeli Down Syndrome org

ATID foundation is a non profit organization, established with a mission to care, promote and aid in the integration of children and adults with Down Syndrome (DS), as well as rising awarness to their special needs across the lifespan. Among the foundation’s activities: - OTZMOT Project: an Academic curriculum at Bar Ilan University for DS young adults, the first program of its kind globally. - Educational, occupational and experiential frameworks for DS children and adults. - Support and training for parents and other members of family. - Open Ear program: providing supportive and inclusive space for queries, questions and information through mentorship, support groups and lectures. - Older Brother scheme: A mentored trip to the far east for DS young adults. - Legal aid, advocacy and advice.
