La’Ofek is dedicated to ensuring that Israel’s underserved sectors pave a secure path to a secure future through viable employment. Our three employment-based programs — Achotenu, Ta’asuchayil and New Dawn — are helping Israel’s Ethiopian-Israelis become academic nurses, socio economically distressed soldiers during and after their service and the long-term unemployed. La’Ofek’s vision is based on the Rambam's Laws of Charity which states that the best way to help an individual is to provide a means of livelihood.
