Hapoel Jerusalem Swimming

There are currently a small number of traditional Jewish children on the Jerusalem Hapoel Swimming team. Many drop out due to the expense and difficulties faced with keeping Shabbat and Kosher. The fight for equality for orthodox Jewish competitors within every sphere of sport is being fought through the court system, but in the meantime traditional Jewish swimmers are having a hard time keeping up and getting ahead. You can help traditional swimmers become champions, representing the State of Israel in international competitions! With your help we will be able to make sure that kosher meals are provided when the children travel abroad for competitions; that transport is provided on Fridays in time to get the children home before Shabbat; that scholarships are granted to gifted children from large families, who would otherwise be unable to afford to keep on training. Help us to allow traditional Jewish children to continue competing and succeeding internationally in the sport they love, without straining their family resources to breaking point!
