Kehillat Ramot Zion

Congregation Ramot Zion provides a warm home for people seeking meaningful connection with Jewish tradition. Welcoming everyone, we maintain a vibrant and supportive communal life. We offer a wide range of activities for all ages, for our members and the wider community, including prayers on weekdays, Sabbaths and Jewish festivals; educational activities for toddlers; joint parent-children activities; youth activities; a chapter of the Noam youth movement of Conservative (Masorti) Judaism; programs for university students; lectures and classes for adults; social activities; and various social action and volunteering initiatives. Kehillat Ramot Zion is one of the first Conservative congregations to be established in Israel. We are committed to Halachah and its continuing development according to circumstances of time and place. We combine tradition with fresh Israeli creativity, which keeps classical sources and traditions relevant and meaningful to our lives. Our congregation is very active in the public sphere in promoting pluralism and liberal Judaism in Israel through projects involving volunteering; neighborhood and city-wide social initiatives; interfaith efforts; celebration of Jewish and Israeli holidays in conjunction with the wider public; celebration of life-cycle events, and collaborative activities with people of all denominations and affiliations.
