Keren Tzedakah Moshav Matityahu

Keren Tzedakah Moshav Matityahu is a volunteer tzedakah (charity) organization focused on discreetly supporting families in dire need of financial assistance. Because all of the Keren’s activities are by uncompensated volunteers, there is almost no overhead; the full amount of all donations goes directly to help needy families. The Keren’s fundraising activities within the small local community are, unfortunately, not nearly enough to provide the required funds. We therefore ask you to donate generously, preferably on a recurring basis, to help provide financial support for these families in Eretz Yisroel who desperately need your assistance. The Keren’s Funds • Keren Midai Chodesh – The Keren’s primary fund identifies families who simply cannot cover basic expenses on a monthly basis. Reasons for such situations include inability to work, protracted unemployment, illness or the like. • Keren Matan B'Saisair – This fund covers occasional tzedakah needs. The most common applications include times of the year that incur large expenses, such as the holidays, and large unexpected one-time expenses that fall upon families that are barely making ends meet. • Helping Others Help Themselves – The Keren also strives to do “preventative medicine.” Examples include: providing courses on how to effectively manage one's domestic finances, subsidizing courses enabling an individual to earn more in his/her field and providing tools for someone to be able to make their own living.
