KLAVLOVE foundation rescues abandoned dogs in northern Israel region, rehabilitates them, provides them with shelter, food, vaccinations and medical care. Most importantly it seeks to find a loving forever home for each of them. The foundation's kennel in Kibbutz Yasur is home to about 50 dogs, most find a loving home and have been with us for over a year, but all them are getting a loving and devoted care by the team of volunteers that operates the kennel since its foundation. The work of the volunteers is done with all their hearts and involves a lot of struggles, both emotional ones resulting from being exposed to endless needs of dog rescues and from the constant need to find funding solutions to finance food, shelter, medical care and maintenance expenses. KLAVLOVE's volunteers are doing the almost impossible every day and give the gift of life to these dogs, care and a lot of hope. The foundation's volunteers arrive from the entire northern area - from Haifa to Naharya, from all sectors and from the age of 14 to 80 - each of them, according to their ability, save lives on a daily basis. In addition, KLAVLOVE foundation cooperates with activists in the Arab society who constantly work to rescue and rehome dogs that are not getting proper living conditions, and work to educate on care and compassion of animals. Since the need to rescue dogs far exceeds the physical space in the kennel, KLAVLOVE foundation operates a foster case system that spreads all over the north of Israel and provides an immediate life-saving solution for puppies and adult dogs that live in the streets and are exposed to diseases, hunger, car accidents and inappropriate care. Today, about 60 puppies and dogs are in foster care homes of the foundation. KLAVLOVE foundation operates on 100% volunteer basis and does not have any outside sources of founding. The foundation is funded by its members, adoption fees and donations. Each shekel/cent goes solely to the welfare of the dogs. Since establishing KLAVLOVE in 2006, thousands of rescue dogs have found loving forever homes, each one could have had a very different fate. Today, KLAVLOVE foundation is the largest dog rescue foundation in northern Israel, and we invite you to join us and help save the lives of the helpless dogs.
