Once more we are all called to arms. If the pandemic did not suffice, we now are submerged with requests for urgent medicine for Ukrainian refugees who were forced to flee their homes and find themselves penniless. We have received requests from an orphanage in Odessa, for their 300 orphans; from mothers of infants and babies; from pregnant women and many elderly. Many fled so suddenly that they left their medicines behind. We are constantly asked to provide also basic first aid, such as iodin and bandages. In addition, doctors, nurses, paramedics and all medical personnel on site in the field hospital provided by Israel have had their supplies depleted of basic medicine and medical supplies. From the moment the war broke out and upon understanding the urgency, we linked up to volunteer organizations going to Ukraine and have been supplying them with requested equipment and medicine. We pray for the quick resolution of this war. And as long as it lasts, we will be providing everything in our power to help.
