Music Studio building for Dror Galil

Did you ever hear about teenagers that are building on there own music studio for their school? We decided to build our Music studio, and also create the musical instruments and equipment and all from recycled material. How did we get to it? In our school, Dror Galil, study Teenagers from across the Galilee. We wish to promote musical creation in the school. The problem: we don’t have musical instruments and a studio in Dror Galil. Our solution: We’ve decided to create the best music studio in the Galilee. We will build a studio all made from recycled materials! The studio framework will be a decommissioned bus, and instead of it being dismantled, we will fit and renovate it. We will make acoustic insulation from recycled materials. We will design and build the instruments ourselves in our makerspace. We will also be making the furniture for the studio by ourselves. All of it from recycled materials. This is how it is when you have the hands of Makers, the hearts of musicians and dreams of a better world for all of us. Who are we? We are students of Shoresh group, the 12th graders of Dror Galil High School. As part of preparing to finish our years in the school and saying farewell we decided to take the knowledge and experience we gained at school and to build a music studio that will be used by future students in school. We are doing all the planning, designing, manufacturing and building all on our own. We are using 3D printers, a laser cutting machine, CNC computerized milling and more. Most importantly, we are doing it together with all our heart! We are inviting you to be our partners and together we will turn our dream into realety. Any donation will help. For us, any donation is big!
