Jennifer is Running in the Jerusalem Marathon!!

I have signed up to run the 5K in the Jerusalem Marathon this march! Not a big fan of running (when are they going to introduce Zumba into the marathon?), I have taken this on myself in order raise money for a very important cause which is very close to my heart. I am raising money for the Malki Foundation, an organization that supports families who choose to care for their children with disabilities at home. The Malki Foundation pays for paramedical therapies (physio, occupational, speech, water, etc) for kids in Israel who have severe disabilities. During the 4+ years that I have been working at the Malki Foundation, I have seen how much the therapies helped the kids advance and how much support the organization gave to parents, both financial and emotional. The families that the Malki Foundation supports have incredible strength caring for their children at home, but also must overcome unbelievable obstacles. These families must fight to get their children what they need on a daily basis, and to be part of an organization that says “yes, we will help you” feels so good.
