The National Institute for Shabbat Society & the Economy

The Institute for Shabbat, Society and Economics works with the government ministries and their affiliate bodies, national organizations, local authorities and the relevant social and civic organizations, to establish Shabbat as a platform for meetings between sectors, societies, movements and agenda groups in Israel and the Diaspora. The institute will establish infrastructure for across-the-board support for countrywide educational and cultural activities to increase the exposure to Shabbat among all population groups, and will provide tools and resources to support activities, via local authorities, civil society organizations, groups and individuals, and supports activism in spiritual and social life.
