"Eli, get up, wake up" I cry helplessly, the girls look at me with expression, but my son does not move, he is lying in bed, exhausted from pain and only the tears that flow from his closed eyes calm me: Eli is listening, he is alive!

Ayala begs for her children's lives: help me save Eli and keep the girls! "Eli, get up, wake up" I cry helplessly, the girls look at me with expression, but my son does not move, he is lying in bed, exhausted from pain and only the tears that flow from his closed eyes calm me: Eli is listening, he is alive! My name is Ayala and I live on Shmuel Hanavi Street in Jerusalem. A year and a half ago my eldest son was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor, I thought the world was over, I quit my job and started accompanying him to dozens of tests and x-rays. Eli was in his prime, a talented and kind-hearted bochur. He was ready for shidduchim and I was already imagining his perfect bride, the flowers and the engagement. One day he complained of very strong headaches, after a week he fainted in shul and was taken to the hospital. Within two days we heard the hardest news of our lives. Eli received the news in a traumatic way and went into depression. I have to convince him to go to the hospital, get chemotherapy, believe that this time will pass and be strong. Meanwhile our house is falling apart. My husband works as a maintenance worker, he leaves the house early in the morning and comes back late at night, but we don't have money to go grocery shopping. I have a 10-year-old girl with diabetes and her 6-year-old sister was born with Down syndrome. The girls need me at home, Eli needs me at the hospital, and I'm torn in the middle. Eli's treatments are paid for by health insurance, but the surrounding expenses have reduced us to a financial low. We have debts of tens of thousands of shekels and when I return from an exhausting hospitalization, I find a refrigerator empty of food. If only I had the financial possibility, I would get mental help for Eli, arrange for a babysitter to be with the girls and help with prepared food. But I have nothing to pay the water and electricity bill. I'm really asking everyone who can: please help us save Eli's life! Keep our house from collapsing and give me the strength to survive on all fronts. I wish you that you will never know sorrow and your home will be full of happiness and health for the rest of your life!
