Nofei Prat was founded in 1992, with 30 families who came up on the night of the government elections on June 23, 1992. It is a mixed community where there is a place for the secular, religious traditionalists and everything in between, a place for all of Israel.
Nofei Prat is a community settlement. The life of the community works in cooperation with volunteers from among the community, the members of the various committees - education, culture, administrative committee, religion, community and more. The community currently has about 270 families, and we are looking towards building another neighborhood in the coming years.
Nofei Prat is located on the edge of the Yehuda Desert, on the ridge that rises above the southern bank of the Euphrates River - Wadi Kelt, hence the name given to it.
The desert landscape is breathtaking, and combines water from springs from the surrounding area, desert blossoms in the winter, and the color of the desert in the summer. We are in the heart of an area of hiking, biking and jeep routes, and enjoy an amazing view and regional animals such as the Haaretz-Israeli deer, the fox and the porcupine.
The Border Patrol and IDF soldiers patrolling the area and guarding the residents of the block as well as all the travelers (including the broad rainbow) who come to our area will be happy to enjoy themselves and reenergize in a warm corner and get a feeling of a warm home before returning to their important missions.
