Zecher L'Machatzit HaShekel

By Beyadenu for the Temple Mount

This year, dedicate your 'Machatzit HaShekel to the Temple Mount!

Donors: 12

This year, dedicate the mitzva of "Machatzit HaShekel" to supporting the site of our Temple. In the times of the Temple, the half a shekel was collected from every Jew for public sacrifices and the maintenance of the Temple. In our day, since we are not yet privileged to build the Third Temple, the purpose of your donation is to strengthen the connection of the people of Israel to the Temple Mount. .This year, consider donating your "Machatzit HaShekel" to "Beyedanu - for the Temple Mount" so we can continue working to returning Israeli sovereignty to the Temple Mount. With your support, we can continue our important work: Firstly, we will grow and develop our guiding project to ensure that every Jew who ascends the Mount receives proper guidance on the significance and holiness of this site. This will help to deepen and strengthen Temple Mount awareness among the Israeli public. Secondly, we will fight for equality and an end to discrimination on the Temple Mount. This includes expanding the hours of ascendance, opening all the Temple Mount gates for Jews, and removing the prayer ban. Thirdly, we will monitor and address any damage being done to antiquities on the Temple Mount, as well as any desecration of this holy site, whether it be soccer games or graffiti. And finally, we invite you to enter the names of the donors in the donation form so that they can be prayed for on the Temple Mount. Your contribution will make a tremendous impact, helping us to continue our crucial work towards achieving Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount. Thank you for your support! In the past year, thanks to your donation, we managed to: Education and guidance - * Reach a record number of ascenders in a year - 51,404 Jews ascended this past year - thousands of them were guided by Beyadenu! * Organized tours from Bat Ayin, Neveh Daniel, Tekoa and Nokdim (in collaboration with the Gush Etzion Regional Council providing subsidized shuttles for the second year in a row!), as well as from Hashmona'im and Gush Adumim. * Approximately 40 participants in another Temple Mount guide course which ended recently, some of them have already integrated into our guiding team * Last year we delivered lectures and led tours to roughly 300 yeshiva and Ulpana students, 90 school pupils, and 250 pre-military academy cadets! * We initiates the Temple Mount Ascenders Convention in memory of Gershon Salomon z"l in which 200 people participated and launched the guidance fund in order to preserve his legacy Protecting our heritage and the Temple Mount and shaping policy- * We made sure graffiti was erased from the Mount (in several instances) and opened a hot-line for Temple Mount reports. Writings praising terrorist Fadi Abu Shaidem were also removed * We embarked on a campaign to stop dumping garbage in the area where the Temple once stood and with the help of public pressure, our appeal to the Antiquities Authority, the police, and the Jerusalem Municipality, we managed to stop it! Our Parliamentary Team is changing policy on the Mount. Some of their achievements- * We met with dozens of Knesset members in order to change the agenda on the Mount * We led the campaign to include Beyadenu' Sovereignty Principles in the government's basic guidelines and refreshed the memories of some of the coalition members regarding their previous statements on the issue * Following Beyadenu's activity: the security apparatus will discuss our demands to change reality on the Temple Mount
