The Gift Of A Special Holiday

The goal of Latet’s Passover 2023 campaign is to help impoverished Holocaust survivors and families in Israel celebrate Passover by donating a holiday food box. According to Latet’s 2022 Alternative Poverty Report, 27.8% of the Israeli population live in poverty, among them are 34.4% children and 21.1% families who live in food insecurity, and 38.6% children that live in poverty. Latet provides aid to 95,000 families and thousands of Holocaust survivors and elderly people on a ongoing basis thanks to 29,000 volunteers. Particularly before the holidays, the organization extensively increases its scope of activity to make sure assistance arrives to those in need. As such, every year before Passover we launch a campaign to encourage public support and raise awareness, thereby helping tens of thousands of Israelis in need.
