Be'er-Sheva Loves Animals is a non-profit organization (580442093) established in 2004 with the aim of changing the unbearable reality of animals in the city and its surrounding area, and saving their lives. Our organization is the only one allowed to work with the quarantine in the city, to care for the dogs and cats staying in the facility, and to give them a last chance foe life. The members of the organization are volunteers at all levels, including senior management positions, this is due to endless amount of devotion and concern to animals in distress.
Our organization operates on several levels:
We are active in a wide range of foster families aimed at getting as many dogs and cats as possible out from* the quarantine and the streets.
* We are concerned about the welfare of dogs and cats in quarantine and we take care for volunteers to take
out dogs for walks so they will get to see a piece of sky once in a while
* We are setting up adoption days in order to find them good homes.
* We take the dogs to the pension, fund behavioral rehabilitation, and help finance complex medical treatments; All these are in order to rehabilitate as many animals as possible and give them another chance to find their place in the world and prevent situations where quarantine has no place to house more animals.
* Providing assistance and support to residents who collect abandoned animals from the street.
* We are working to publicize the dogs and the cats and the social media.
* We conduct educational activities with the aim of changing the attitude towards animals in general, and carrying out rescue missions on "Lag B'Omer" holiday in order to prevent the killing and burning of animals in particular.
The organization's ongoing activity relies mainly on donations from private individuals who share our love for animals. We need donations in order to continue to save those wandering and abandoned dogs and cats - they have no one beside us.
