The Ish Tzaddik Haya nonprofit organization is directed by Rabbi Chaim Eideles and operated by a volunteer board that represents a wide range of industries and social affiliations. The board members, professionals in the fields of economics, law, banking, business, education, construction, finance and infrastructure, united by a shared cause: A desire to help, assist and support people in need. Ish Tzadik Haya wide range of chesed activities are executed by 235 volunteers across the land of Israel.
The nonprofit organization Ish Tzadik Haya was established to support, assist, and rehabilitate the needy in Am Yisrael in the following areas:
• Support and rehabilitates families and individuals in financial distress, and lift them out of the cycle of misery into a life of independence and self-sufficiency.
• Provide guidance and support for couples in marital distress.
• Provides diapers and formula for babies deprived of basic needs, through vouchers.
• Help cancer surviving kids who with the rehabilitation of their oral cavity damaged by radiation and chemotherapy, including the reconstruction of gums and teeth.
• Provide assistance with medications that are not included in the national formulary.
• Volunteer with the elderly and Holocaust survivors in their homes and in nursing homes.
• Volunteer visits and entertainment for hospitalized children
• Volunteer visits and entertainment for institutionalized children with special needs
• Torah education via lectures, a weekly Torah publication, and Torah study.
