FAIB (Elderly Italian Fund for Charity) was created in 1989 as a charitable fund of the Italian Jewish community in Israel to assist old people in need within the Community.Over the three decades of activity, the Fund has assisted dozens of seniors, many of them Holocaust survivors, either by monthly donations or by providing "ad hoc" aid.The Fund is managed exclusively by volunteers, and is not burdened by any office or secretarial expenses, so that the donations are entirely devolved to the beneficiaries of the Fund.Our commitment is aimed at responding to King David's prayer : Do not throw me in the time of old age; just when my strength fails, do not leave me.
