Grabski Rehabilitation Center provides housing solutions for populations suffering from difficult physical disabilities, operating several programs throughout the country in this area. Last year, the organization opened a new housing center in Jerusalem, called Beit Finger, which is adjacent to the center of town. It is now home to young adult residents. The residents living in the housing centers deal with disabilities due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and other issues. They receive 24/7 care that includes comprehensive nursing services, physical therapy on a regular basis, occupational therapy and more, as well as a range of therapeutic classes such as music therapy, art therapy and therapeutic gardening, which enrich their lives mentally and emotionally. Our residents are surrounded by a wide range of caregivers who support them throughout the day, from nursing care to paramedical therapists, a physician, a nurse and an emotional therapy staff. In addition to the medical aspects, we seek to improve the quality of life of our residents and believe in integrating into the normative society and community. Therefore, we take regular outings to participate in leisure events, find employment opportunities and try to take part in events occurring around us in the community.
