Moreshet Avraham was established in 2011 in memory of the late Rabbi Avraham Ravitz z'l, whose home was wide open to every Jew.
The organization was founded by his daughter and son-in-law Malka and Avidan Buksenbaum, with the aim of arousing public awareness and finding a solution to the silent cry of homeless religious young women who face the complex challenges of independent living all on their own.
The organization runs programs and residential homes in which these young women live in comfortable conditions with a space for growth and personal development that allows them to build their futures with confidence.
Since Moreshet Avraham's founding, hundreds of young women have lived in these houses where they at last had a place to call "home", a place to acquire tools for successful living, and dozens of them have married and established beautiful families.
