Be'eri Pardes Hana, a non-profit organization, operates the Be’eri Center in Pardes Hanna, a place dedicated to personal growth and development and Midreshet Emunah Be'eri. Our mission is to assist families, couples, and individuals in their journey towards a life filled with hope and resilience.Midreshet Emunah Be'eri. Understanding the genuine need for individuals and families who lack the means to access emotional therapy independently, we strive to address the emotional, mental, and familial challenges of our time. At the Be’eri Center, we offer a wide range of therapeutic services, including couples therapy, family therapy, parent-child therapy, parenting guidance, and trauma and anxiety-focused therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, we conduct various workshops, empowerment seminars, personal growth sessions, trauma and resilience workshops utilizing professional tools, group therapy for youth and children, and empowerment groups. Our services are administered by seasoned professionals in the field. Given the events of October 2023 and the current circumstances, we have taken it upon ourselves to provide emotional therapy to families displaced from the Gaza envelope and those from the northern regions. Currently, approximately 160 displaced families are residing in Pardes Hanna. Midreshet Emunah Be'eri (MEB) – An Overview Nestled in the serene embrace of the pastoral city of Pardes Hanna, Midreshet Emunah Be'eri (MEB) emerged in 2017 with a noble mission - to offer young women, as well as local women in the surrounding area, a transformative opportunity to delve deeply into the profound teachings of Torah, igniting within them a wellspring of wisdom. MEB firmly believes in integrating Torah with real-life experiences, accompanying each woman on her unique journey of personal development. By embracing this approach, Torah becomes a guiding force that adds meaning, purpose, and fulfillment to life. The curriculum at MEB encompasses a wide array of Torah disciplines, including Tanakh, Halacha, philosophical thought, faith, Chassidut, and the teachings of Rabbi Kook. This comprehensive approach fosters deep engagement and intellectual exploration, enabling students to broaden their perspectives. In addition to rigorous study, the institution provides workshops, enrichment activities, social impact programs, yoga classes, and access to a fitness center, promoting holistic well-being and personal growth. MEB stands as a testament to the power of combining personal empowerment with comprehensive Torah study. Its innovative approach, encompassing a wide range of Torah disciplines and integration with daily life, allows students to thrive in a vibrant and nurturing environment. Within the dynamic structure of MEB, a world of possibilities unfolds, shaping the lives of its students in profound ways. This transformative framework empowers them to cultivate knowledge, embrace active involvement, and nurture a compassionate spirit, all dedicated to the pursuit of Torah and chesed. The success of MEB is not solely measured by the academic achievements of its students, but also by the transformative impact they have on the world around them. The alumni of MEB serve as living testaments to the profound influence of their education, as they continue to lead lives guided by Torah principles, enriching their communities and leaving a lasting legacy of values, compassion, and moral responsibility. Community Outreach Projects Big Sister Project The Big Sister Project, established by Midreshet Emunah Be'eri (MEB) in 2022, brings immense benefits to both the children at Neve Michael Children's Village and the participating MEB students. Through this initiative, at-risk boys and girls are paired with compassionate MEB students, forming meaningful connections that provide personal attention, enrichment activities, and positive role modeling. For the children, having a dedicated mentor has a profound impact. The guidance and care of their "big sisters" create a sense of love, support, and belonging. This emotional connection helps them develop social skills, build healthy relationships, and navigate interactions with confidence. The mentorship from MEB students serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring the children to believe in themselves and their potential. The Big Sister Program also enriches the lives of the participating MEB students. In addition to personal growth, they receive a scholarship toward their tuition as a token of appreciation for their commitment. This financial support alleviates the burden of educational expenses, allowing them to focus on their Torah learning goals. Midrasha for Girls at Risk In 2022, MEB launched an extraordinary initiative known as the Midrasha for Girls at Risk Program. Tailored for 20 girls in grades 7-12 from schools in Pardes Hana, Or Akiva, and Hadera, this immersive program spans nine months of inspiration and growth. Gathering together once a week for five invigorating hours, these remarkable young teenagers step into a world of Torah, where they embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal development. In this nurturing and empowering environment, they delve into the depths of their souls, nourishing their spirits and fostering their emotional well-being. Bat Mitzvah Project The 'Bat Mitzvah' initiative offered by Midreshet Emunah Be'eri is an engaging program designed to enrich the significant journey of the Bat Mitzvah year. This innovative program offers a series of interactive learning sessions for mothers and daughters to participate in together throughout this milestone year. Each meeting within the program delves into the lives of influential women from biblical sources, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of their contributions. Alongside these study sessions, the program also incorporates a variety of creative activities covering diverse topics. These activities span from art and music to baking, drama, cooking, and movement. Moreover, the program encourages group discussions that bridge the gap between Jewish values and everyday practical life. These discussions aim to foster a sense of community and stimulate thoughtful conversations. Not only do these program meetings provide an opportunity for intergenerational bonding, but they also offer an empowering and affirming experience that strengthens Jewish identity. To cater to the diverse needs of the community, the 'Bat Mitzvah' program offers a range of options tailored to both the general and religious sectors. It is a unique platform that combines learning, creativity, and celebration in the unforgettable journey of the Bat Mitzvah year.
