Merhavim- Education for Values operates the "Planting Together - Planting the Ability to Choose" program throughout Israel
The "Planting Together" program will be an educational and occupational center in the lives of youth and will instill in their lives feelings of meaning, ability, obligation, and belonging. The youth who taking part in the program will have value resilience and a toolkit of skills and abilities to face the challenges of the 21st century, they will be productive people in society, willing to take responsibility in the community and the country.
The young girls and boys who take part in the association's activities volunteer and carry out educational activities in the neighborhoods and cities where they live and thereby find meaning and a contribution to society in its many facets.
The goals of the association:
- Providing a complete response to the boys and girls needs while working together with all the systems that make up the girls and boys world.
- Imparting life skills and feelings of meaning, belonging, ability and commitment in the girls and boys life through tools from the world of employment.
- Connecting the boys to the community and society and turning them into productive people who contribute to their environment.
- Integration between the components of Israeli society: ultra-Orthodox, religious, Druze and the general sector.
